PREAMBLE

  • The present general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter the “General Terms and Conditions of Sale”) apply to all purchases made for access to the Coucy à la Merveille show and catering during this event organized by the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy, domiciled at 7-9 rue du Pot d’Etain, 02380 Coucy-le-Château.

GENERAL

  • As the organizer of its own shows, the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy handles ticket sales.
  • The customer acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions of sale prior to validating his/her order. Any validation of the order implies acceptance of the general conditions without exception. Consequently, the customer declares and acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of them, and hereby waives the right to invoke any other document.
  • The Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy reserves the right to adapt or modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time. In the event of modification, the general terms and conditions of sale in force on the day the order is placed will apply to each order.

GROUP BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • To validate a booking, the customer undertakes to pay the deposit shown on the estimate drawn up by the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy.
  • The balance must be paid at least one month before the performance date. The customer may always add seats for the show and the restaurant, subject to availability.
  • The reservation will only be effective on receipt of the deposit.
  • Show tickets will be collected on the evening of the performance from the ticket office or from the outside catering area.

TICKET PRICES AND PLACEMENT

  • Ticket prices are quoted in Euros and payable in Euros only. Ticket prices include all taxes. The applicable rate is that in force on the day the order is placed. The Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy reserves the right to change the admission price at any time. Several prices are offered depending on the age and status of the spectator.
  • The price conditions are those displayed on the http://www.amvcc.com website at the time of ordering.
  • Prices are subject to the VAT rate in force for live performances, except for catering, where the VAT rates in force apply. The Customer acknowledges that he/she is aware of the discounts or free tickets to which he/she may be entitled when ordering tickets; these discounts are indicated in the price conditions displayed on http://www.amvcc.com.
  • Proof of the discount will be requested when the ticket is checked. No discount is applicable after payment of the order.

TICKET COLLECTION

  • Tickets for shows are not sent by post. They can be collected on presentation of the electronic confirmation of the order and/or proof of identity in the name of the person who made the reservation, either at the office of the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy during normal opening hours, from the day of the order, or on the day of the show at the office of the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy before 7 p.m. On the evening of the show, tickets may only be collected from the venue.
  • Tickets remain the property of L’Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy until full and final payment has been received. Tickets are nominative and may not be resold at a higher price (law of 27 June 1919).
  • The bank card is debited independently of the actual collection of the tickets. Tickets are definitively paid for even if the purchaser does not collect them.
  • The Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy will do its utmost to respect your wishes as far as possible.
  • After the start of the performance, the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy will not guarantee access to the stage area. It reserves the right not to accept latecomers. People with reduced mobility are advised to contact the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy to organise their accommodation.
    Spectators must move around the site in compliance with safety instructions and facilities.
  • Animals are not permitted on the event site.
  • Catering services are not guaranteed after 8.30pm.

PAYMENT

  • It is forbidden to resell tickets or to offer them to third parties for commercial purposes. The person or company placing the order is considered to be the Customer and will be liable for payment of the order, even when acting on behalf of a third party.
  • In application of article L.121-20-4, 2 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer does not benefit from the 7-day withdrawal period provided for in article L.121-20 of the same code.
  • All tickets purchased cannot be taken back or reimbursed, even if they are lost or stolen or forgotten on the evening of the event.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND

  • The choice of date is final, no postponement is possible except in the following case: the Coucy à la Merveille show is an outdoor event. In the event of bad weather, the show will not be performed except by decision of the prefect for safety reasons, in which case the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy reserves the right to cancel a performance.
  • In the event of cancellation of a performance by the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy, a postponement to another performance date in the current season is possible on request by telephone or in writing to the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy on 03 23 52 69 40 or by e-mail to contact@amvcc.com. The Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy will give you another ticket for the performance of your choice, subject to availability. It is imperative that you present yourself on the day of the performance at the entrance with the cancelled ticket and the new ticket issued by the ticket office of the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy.
  • Tickets can only be refunded if the event is cancelled. They must be returned no later than one month after the date of the show to the following address: Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy, 7-9 rue du Pot d’Etain – 02380 Coucy-le-Château.
  • Don’t forget to include your full name, exact address and telephone number.
  • No refunds will be made if the show is interrupted more than halfway through.
  • In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and challenge any information held about you. The processing of personal information relating to users of the services provided by the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy has been declared to the CNIL (declaration number: xxxxxxx). By sending your e-mail address to the Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy, you agree to receive information about the Coucy à la Merveille show. The information you provide is for the exclusive use of L’Association de Mise en Valeur du Château de Coucy in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. In the event of litigation, the court of Soissons is competent. French law will be applied.
